Members of the Freedom Circuit, CCBB and CDL are with open culture edicts
Entity of the merchants sponsors renewal of the artistic panel of its Cultural Point and Banco do Brasil offers funds for projects to occupy their spaces destined to art and entertainment in 2026 and 2027
The Chamber of Retail Directors of Belo Horizonte (CDL-BH) and the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB), members of the Circuito Liberdade, are with open cultural sponsorship edicts. The CDL-BH selects until Wednesday, 30/4, artists or collectives interested in performing new artistic intervention at Galeria Rampa, a space that integrates the CDL Cultural Point, located in the central region of the city. The initiative celebrates the institution’s 65th anniversary and proposes as a theme "Commerce, Entrepreneurship and Belo Horizonte".
The notice includes graffiti, mural painting or similar artistic language. Intended exclusively for artists living in Belo Horizonte, the call requires a minimum age of 18 years and a portfolio that attests to at least three urban interventions already carried out. The CCBB already carries out calls for occupation of its cultural spaces in 2026 and 2027. The announcement calls for artists, curators and cultural producers to compose the programming of the five units of the institute, one of them in Belo Horizonte, in Praça da Liberdade. Legal persons and individuals with projects in the areas of exhibition, performing arts, music, cinema and education/mediation can participate. Registration is open until 26/5.
The projects will be examined according to their conceptual and thematic relevance, adherence to the areas and segments that Banco do Brasil supports, financial and technical viability, as well as accessibility. External reviewers will be present in the internal evaluation committee. Registrations are free and can be made at bb.com.br/patrocinios.
